A Hands-on Workshop on X-rays, Synchrotron Radiation
and Neutron Diffraction Techniques including Experimental and Computational Aspects

May 24-30, 2010
Paul Scherrer Institut, Villigen, Switzerland

The purpose of the 2010 Villigen Powder School is to explore during a full intensive week the world of diffraction at the nanoscale with the help and the guide of recognized experts in the field. Participants are supposed to be already familiar with both the fundamentals of crystallography and X-ray powder diffraction. "Here, to get in touch directly with the organizers!"

The powder school is NOT suitable for students specifically interested in working with single crystal data. A very successful hands-on school on single crystal X-ray crystallography is regularly organized at the nearby University of Zürich. For information on the incoming edition of the Zurich School you may contact Prof. Linden (alinden@oci.uzh.ch) or Prof. Bürgi (hans-beat.buergi@krist.unibe.ch).
